Food Security & Livelihood
- Distributing food aid and agricultural inputs to ensure access to nutritious food and promote sustainable farming practices.
- Implementing livelihood support programs such as cash-for-work initiatives, vocational training, and micro-enterprise development to help communities generate income and improve their economic resilience.
Health and Nutrition
- The intervention focus in primary health care with possibility of Providing medical supplies, equipment, and personnel to establish or support health facilities in affected areas.
- Conducting health and nutrition assessments, and implementing interventions such as vaccination campaigns, malnutrition treatment, and maternal and child health services to address immediate health needs.
- Public health awareness raising in communities and health promotion
Protection
- Gender-Based Violence (GBV): Offering safe spaces, counseling, and legal support for survivors of GBV.
- Conducting awareness campaigns to prevent and respond to GBV incidents.
- Community Protection: Establishing community-based mechanisms for conflict resolution, early warning systems, and dialogue platforms to promote community cohesion and prevent violence.
- Child Protection: Establishing child-friendly spaces, providing psychosocial support, and facilitating family tracing and reunification for separated and unaccompanied children.
Cash-Based Intervention
- Providing cash transfers or vouchers to affected households to meet their immediate needs, stimulate local markets, and empower beneficiaries to make choices based on their priorities.
Education in Emergency
- Setting up temporary learning spaces and distributing educational materials to ensure continuity of education for children affected by emergencies.
- Training teachers and community volunteers on psychosocial support and trauma- informed teaching methods to address the specific needs of children in crisis situations.
Shelter and Housing
- Distributing emergency shelter kits, tents, and non-food items to families displaced by conflict or natural disasters.
- Rehabilitating or constructing transitional shelters and permanent housing to provide safe and dignified living conditions for affected populations.
Water and Sanitation
- Providing access to safe drinking water through the installation or repair of water supply systems,conduct water quality monitoring, distribution of water Aqua tabs and promotion of hygiene and awareness cam.
- Constructing latrines, promoting proper waste management, and conducting hygiene promotion activities to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases and improve overall sanitation conditions in affected communities.
