The conflict in Sudan continues to uproot lives, but its heaviest toll falls on those least able to escape its impact — elderly women and men and people with disabilities. Cut off from life‑saving services, exposed to protection risks, and often without safe shelter, many face conditions no human being should endure.
These challenges are not abstract. They are costing lives.
With limited resources but unwavering commitment, our teams are working daily to reach those who cannot reach safety on their own — providing emergency support, restoring dignity, and ensuring that no one is forgotten simply because they are vulnerable.

Mission
Dirar Charity Organization (DCO) is a young women-led humanitarian and development organization committed to uplifting women, girls, and marginalized communities in hard-to-reach and crisis-affected areas. We empower women and youth to lead community-driven initiatives in peacebuilding, climate adaptation, and emergency response. Through inclusive programming, capacity building, and advocacy, DCO supports the transition from humanitarian relief to long-term resilience, dignity, and prosperity.
Objectives
Dirar Charity Organization (DCO) aims to empower women and girls—especially young women—to lead transformative change in their communities through inclusive peacebuilding, climate adaptation, and humanitarian response. By building their leadership capacity and amplifying their voices, DCO supports women’s active participation in decision-making processes that shape recovery, resilience, and sustainable development in conflict-affected and hard-to-reach areas.
At the heart of DCO’s work is an integrated programming model that combines food security, WASH, protection, and nutrition to improve lives holistically. By linking these core sectors, DCO delivers coordinated, community‑driven solutions that restore dignity, reduce vulnerability, and build long‑term resilience for women, youth, and displaced families.
